In 1936, Roseville began marking pieces with permanent (either impressed or raised) shape numbers. Examples from older lines that bear impressed or raised shape numbers were made in 1936 (or later).
This extremely beautiful and attractively colored Roseville "Bushberry" Jardiniere was produced in 1948 by the Roseville Pottery Company located in Zanesville, Ohio. This is an original Roseville piece- NOT a reproduction! The condition is excellent - having a small chip at the base, and no hairlines or repairs. It is marked in relief with, "Roseville, U.S.A., 657-3"".
